About the Artists

Sally Ko

Sally Ko was born in Seoul, Korea in 1971, and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was two years old. She grew up in the city and north suburbs of Chicago and still resides in Chicago today. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art. Sally works in a variety of styles and media, but is especially known for her style of pouring and manipulating paint to create the loose, yet controlled sensation of her paintings. The organic patterns and appearance of this variety of her paintings reflect not only the actual theme or content of the particular painting in which they appear, but also the mental process that gives life to the work. Sally’s work is widely appreciated and can be found in the personal collections of a variety of clients that includes everyone from teachers to producers, executives to restaurateurs and several prominent national and international names. Her works have been featured in various magazines and have been displayed in organized shows, art fairs, corporate spaces, hotels, fashionable restaurants, galleries and international museums.

Keelan McMorrow

Keelan McMorrow is an internationally-collected, visual artist based in Chicago, Illinois. With unmistakable style and an integrity owed to tradition, Keelan’s paintings meld a dexterous attention to detail, while utilizing innovative techniques and expressive abstraction. Often commissioned for his introspective portrait work, Keelan has completed paintings for private collections across the country and in Canada, and for institutions such as the progressive Holy Paraclete in Providence, Rhode Island. Contracted by Leo Burnett for ComEd’s 2012 Metamorfridges project, Keelan transformed a discarded refrigerator into a striking piece of interactive art, subsequently displayed along Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. His work has earned him noteworthy and monetary awards, and features in publications such as Bluecanvas and Greenbeard magazines. An active figure in Chicago’s underground music scene, Keelan fronts the post-punk group Population, with releases available on Chicago’s Hozac and BLVD Records, and Mass Media out of Orange County, California.
