The Romano family of Chicago, distributors of wine and spirits since the 1930s, has partnered with the Rive Della Cheisa di Gasparetto family of Italy to create a fresh, new Prosecco. Patricia Romano Barry, along with her brothers Danny, Michael and DJ Romano, combined the Barry and Romano names to create Bariano Prosecco. Light and elegant with soft fruit notes of lemon and peach, Bariano is made of Glera grapes nurtured in the rich soil of Italy's Treviso province.
